Eötvös University (ELTE) is the 8th in Europe and the 33rd in the World in the list of "2010 World University Ranking". This ranking was assembeld by organization "4 International Colleges & Universities (4icu.org)".
Organization 4icu.org considered 10,000 Colleges and Universities in 200 countries. The ranking of the universities and colleges was based upon an algorithm including three independent web metrics extracted from three different search engines, the Google Page Rank, the Yahoo Inbound Links and the Alexa traffic Rank. The aim was to provide an approximate popularity ranking of world Universities and Colleges based upon the popularity of their websites.
